Jehovah's Witnesses

Product No.: 25490

A scriptural and historical analysis.

There is an increasing tendency amoung the sects of Christendom to minimise doctrinal variances between the churches. The spirit of ecumenism (unity of the churches) concentrates upon the similarities and relegates the matter of doctrine to the realm of the unimportant.
This modern concept is totally opposed to the attutude of Jesus Christ and his apostles. To them truth wa an essential matter. Jesus Christ taught that "the truth shall make you free" (John 8v32), and the apostle Paul required every sincere disciple to "prove all things and hold fast that which is good". (1 Thess 5v21).
It is in this spirit of enquiry and in quest for the true teaching of the Bible that we have examined the doctrines of the Jehovah's Witnesses and the history of the orgainization - the Watchtower Society.
