This 144 page coloring book features 23 stories from the life of Christ, from “The Angel Gabriel Visits Mary” to “The Ascension and Gift of the Holy Spirit.” Each story consists of 2-4 pages of text, with a picture to color on the facing page. The text is, for the most part, scriptural, though readers should carefully note the few exceptions (the holy spirit personified as “He”, unbiblical paraphrase of the “thief on the cross” dialogue). However, what parents and Sunday School teachers will probably find most useful are the dozens of pictures illustrating the stories. Each story is given 2-4 full-page pictures for young students to color. All angels are, unfortunately, illustrated with wings, but other than this parents and Sunday School teachers should find them useful and fun for children.
